Texting Terms and Conditions


By texting Five County Credit Union (hereinafter “FCCU”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

a. By providing us with a mobile number you are consenting to receive communications – including but not limited to text message notifications in conjunction with the services you have requested from us. This consent applies to each mobile number that you provide to us now or in the future and permits such communication for non-marketing purposes.

1. Please notify us immediately if you change mobile numbers or plan to provide your phone to another person.

b. FCCU does not charge a fee for this text service; however, your cellular carrier’s message and data rates may apply.

c. Text messages are not encrypted. Please do not attempt to send sensitive or nonpublic personal information to FCCU via text messaging. FCCU will NEVER ask you to send us sensitive information via text message. If you receive a text message claiming to be from FCCU and it requests sensitive information, please do not respond and contact FCCU immediately by phone at 800-750-0959 during regular business hours. FCCU will not be held liable for any sensitive information disclosed to us via this service.

d. FCCU makes no warranty regarding availability or reliability of text message services, and FCCU shall have no liability related to any delay or failure in the delivery or receipt of messages.

e. FCCU may change these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms and conditions shall be effective when posted to FCCU’s website. You agree to review the terms and conditions regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes. Your continued use of this service after the terms and conditions have been changed shall constitute your acceptance of the new terms and conditions.

f. Use of FCCU text messaging service shall be subject to the terms of FCCU’s Member Service Agreement or Business Service Agreement. Depending on your relationship with FCCU, the terms of other agreements may also apply to your use of FCCU’s text messaging service.

g. You may revoke your consent at any time by texting “STOP” or by calling FCCU at 800-750-0959.

h. FCCU may discontinue your access to the text messaging service at any time without notice to you.
